4 – ‘Aw, shit’ Moments

That moment right before something bad happens or when you realize it’s happened, no time to scream or yell, just to silently accept it and think: Aw, shit…
(Another pointless page)

  • That point in an argument when you realize you’re wrong
  • When you turn around and see that something is about to hurt you
  • When you think something you’ve bought is a bargain, before you realize you’ve been conned
  • When you’re letting something big off your chest and then realize the person you’re talking to has totally misunderstood and now believes something different to the truth
  • That point in a performance when:
    • you realized you’ve forgotten your line
    • you realize you’ve said a line wrong
    • when you’ve done anything noticeably incorrect
  • When you look out the side window of your car and see another car about to hit you
  • When a you make a plan and put it in action, only to realize it’s going to fail horribly
  • When your mother tells you to stay clean/neat (or she doesn’t tell you but you know she expects you to) and then you fall, or spill something or otherwise get yourself in a pretty big mess
  • When you’ve been put in that position of responsibility and you’re being extra careful, but something bad happens and things go wrong…
  • You’re meeting someone important and something bad happens (i.e. job interviews, principal etc)
  • You accidentally let a secret slip
  • You say something embarrassingly incorrect (E.g. You call a female teacher: Mr, or, you mix several words together)
  • You say something easily taken out of context and:
    • Turned into a sick joke (personally think it’s hilarious)
    • A different meaning is given and it’s equally embarrassing (same as before)
  • A lie of yours is exposed
  • That moment after a bet is made in which you realize you’re screwed
